Circuit Solarium
Whitt Sellers & Jon Cohen
The stage acts is an inter-dimensional portal to another world, one activated through dance and music. Lights and visuals of the world of the Solarium respond and play with those entering the portal via cameras, XR sensors, and flow props, transporting both the performers and audience to a space between worlds.
About Whitt Sellers: Whitt Sellers is an XR Developer, Creative Technologist, Visual Artist and Fire Performer living in NYC exploring novel forms of creative expression and play at the intersection of immersive technology and live performance. He earned his MFA in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design in May 2022 and he creates experiences using real-time rendering engines, XR and volumetric capture hardware, and his dragon staff.
About Jon Cohen: Jon Cohen is a cross-disciplinary technologist, musician, and interaction designer working in climate tech and interactive installation art. He has given talks at international software conferences and performed alongside artists such as Sean Jones and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. His goals lie in using current social mechanisms to ease peoples' relationships with themselves and the planet in order to be a part of building a more socially, spiritually, and physically maintainable culture.
